I developed "Meal Mate" as part of my coursework at OTH Regensburg. The primary objective of this assignment was to create a functional mobile application using Kotlin, leveraging Firebase as a robust backend for both data storage and sending timely notifications to users. In the context of Meal Mate, I designed and integrated a comprehensive recipe application. This app provides users with the ability to easily share their unique recipes or, alternatively, to modify existing recipes by using them as new templates, fostering a collaborative cooking environment. For seamless navigation between the various screens, I implemented graph navigation. Furthermore, I utilized shared activities (rather than a distinct activity for each screen) and incorporated animated introduction screens to enhance the user experience. The entire application was meticulously designed using Adobe XD, ensuring a polished and intuitive interface.
